How to Use Our Powerful Miles and Points Search Tool

1. Install the Smart Redemptions Extension

   Install our browser extension for Google Chrome, or Firefox.

2. Search with Google Flights

   Head to Google Flights and start your search as usual. As you browse flight results, Smart Redemptions will automatically work its magic in the background.

3. View Miles, Points, and Cash Prices

   Smart Redemptions enhances your Google Flights results by displaying:

   • Miles/points required for each flight
   • Taxes and fees (when available)
   • Cash prices (standard Google Flights feature)

   You'll see this information appear below each flight option.

4. Check Redemption Recommendations

   We provide a quick recommendation for each flight, indicating whether you should:

   • Use miles/points (Good Deal or Bad Deal)
   • Pay with cash

   This helps you make informed decisions at a glance.

5. Explore Alliance and Partner Options

   Smart Redemptions supports all oneworld, Star Alliance, and SkyTeam airlines, plus many more like Emirates, Etihad, and JetBlue. Click on a flight to see all available airline programs that can book that route.

6. View Seat Availability

   For select airlines (currently British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, and JetBlue, with more coming soon), Business plan subscribers can check real-time seat availability in Economy, Premium Economy, and Business class.

7. Book Your Flight

   Once you've found the perfect flight using miles, points, or cash, simply click on it. You'll be directed to the standard Google Flights booking page, where you can complete your reservation.
